[ Deadpan stare right back at his deadpan stare. Why is that Sasuke's default stare for him? So rude. He huffs appropriately. ]

Kusanagi no Tsurugi is your sword, Sasuke. I only want it whenever you're finished with it. [ He smirks, crossing a leg, swinging his foot a little. ] In exchange, I'll try not to kill anyone here. How's that for a good deal, hm~?

[ Raising an eyebrow, Suigetsu slips into a proper seating position in the armchair and smirks coyly. ] You want to have our own private little fight while I'm naked, Sasuke? I'm seeing a new side of you lately, should I be blushing?

[ Poor vulnerable Suigetsu indeed. Yeah, right. ] If someone attacks you then do what you need to do to make it stop. If that involves killing... then it can't be helped.

[ Give him a moment to stir that soup and process this question. Suigetsu. Why do you do this to him? ] If you want to fight me while you're naked then that's your mistake. You'll just have more weaknesses for me to take advantage of. [ And no, he's not ashamed to glance pointedly at Suigetsu's crotch to get that across. ]

You bet your ass I will. [ Even if he instigates said "self-defensive fight for his life". Oh, Sasuke's loop holes~

[ Yeah, that's a knife being flung with deadly accuracy right towards Suigetsu's face. Which he has full confidence that the other will dodge. Or block. And if he ends up bleeding because of it?

[ Suigetsu's wholly used to having knives thrown at him, but from a guy who was seconds ago stirring soup, he has trouble reacting. Especially around Sasuke, who he should be far more cautious of.

He tilts his head to the side and feels the wind of it tickle his face, the sound of it cutting through the air just about the best sound this world has to offer. It makes him smile, the playfulness never truly dashed. ]

Hm. Perhaps you aren't as far off as I thought you were. [ It's said casually, somehow too casually. ]

I was thinking that even something so simple as a knife wouldn't pass through you harmlessly right now. [ He again twirls the metal in his fingers. ]

You know, I've been looking for some! It's hard in another place, people aren't as forward here about what kind of possessions they own, you know? All I need to do is find someone with a decent fucking sword and then take it from them. By force, if necessary! Don't you think I don't know I'm lacking without a sword? I turned this shit hole over and all I found were a couple of kitchen knives and they're no good to fight with.

If you're challenging me to a sword fight in the future, then I accept. [ Pre-emptively. But hey, he doesn't see enough action around here. ]

Not everyone here is a fighter like we are. Expecting many of them to have swords is going overboard. [ There's a pause. Should he share this bit of information? It could end up being a good distraction for Suigetsu... or it could go very sour. ]
