into the past

Uchiha Massacre
Sasuke's family is killed by his older brother when he is eight.

Haku and Zabuza Arc
Team 7's first difficult mission as a team. Sasuke nearly dies protecting Naruto.

Chuunin Exam
Team 7 bonds further with Sasuke establishing himself as a leader, Sasuke meets and receives the Curse Seal from Orochimaru, and Sasuke begins feeling jealousy over Naruto's rapid improvement.

Itachi's Return
Sasuke reunites with his brother. He is tortured physically and mentally.

Leaving Konoha
After long consideration Sasuke chooses to leave Konoha to seek out Orochimaru. He fights and defeats Naruto.

Team 7 Reunites
Following a three year timeskip Sasuke meets his former team again, now as a criminal. He attacks them before being interrupted by Orochimaru.

Team Hebi
Sasuke forms a new team of Orochimaru's previous experiments after turning on him and defeating him. Suigetsu, Karin, and Juugo choose to follow him as he seeks Itachi.

Itachi's Death
After Sasuke fights and kills Deidara of Akatsuki, Itachi reveals himself to his brother and accepts his challenge. Sasuke fights Itachi to the death. After Itachi dies, Uchiha Obito (disguised as Madara) informs Sasuke that his brother killed their family under orders from Konoha. Sasuke vows revenge.

Kage Summit
After fighting and ostensibly kidnapping Killer Bee, Sasuke next attacks all five kage at a summit in order to kill Danzou. After abandoning the newly named Team Taka, he succeeds in eliminating the new hokage.

Recovery and War
Sasuke transplants his brother's eyes into his own head. In the long recovery period, the shinobi world begins to war. He then joins this war, beginning with taking on Kabuto with his briefly revived brother's help.

Conclusion
Sasuke aids Konoha in the war effort but turns on them following the elimination of their common enemy. He attempts to kill Naruto but after the battle ends in a draw he accepts this as a loss and abandons the goal. He returns to Konoha before leaving to travel the world in search of redemption.
